Are you ready for what critics are calling the “deepest, most intriguing statement,” revitalizing '80s arena rock with modern twists, and a “lavish fondue of modern hard rock without the cheese!”? Ghost are back on the road for 2026 and bring you the Skeletour World Tour, their “most ambitious production to date,” right to Charlotte's Spectrum Center on Sunday 25th January 2026.

Papa V Perpetua will deliver the ultimate in rock sermons with the insane hit "Satanized," a “demonic tale of possession” that's “never sounded this sweet,” along with "Lachryma," and "Peacefield" off their sixth studio album, along with a setlist to include the classic hymns "Mary on a Cross" and "Square Hammer." If you ever want to go to a Ghost gig, this is the one to see; the brand-new album not only debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 but also topped charts in Sweden, Germany, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, and Finland.

As the clergy would say,
Be a good ghoul and hit that 'Buy Tickets' button!

Skeletour World Tour 2026

Continuing Ghost's most ambitious production to date, the Skeletour World Tour supports the band's sixth album, Skeletá. The 2025 tour kicked off in Europe with a completely sold-out run, including stops at London's O2 Arena and Birmingham's Utilita Arena, while the US leg included the band's first-ever headline show at Madison Square Garden that completely sold out.

The 2026 extension adds 20 new North American dates, including this Charlotte show on January 25, 2026, at Spectrum Center, and continues to enforce a strict no-phone policy.

Ghost

Formed in 2006 in Linköping, Sweden, by Tobias Forge when he wrote a riff he called “the most heavy metal riff ever,” it haunted his dreams until lyrics fit and "Stand by Him" was born. The horror concept and anonymity were brought about by Forge and Gustaf Lindström deciding that their demo just didn't sound like "two dudes that look like you and I," and needed something more theatrical.

With his unmasking in 2017, it has been revealed that Tobias Forge portrays all frontmen, from Papa Emeritus I-IV, Cardinal Copia, and now Papa V Perpetua. In 2013, Dave Grohl worked on the production of the album If You Have Ghost and supposedly performed in full Ghost attire.

Spectrum Center

Opening in 2005 as the Charlotte Bobcats Arena to replace the outdated Charlotte Coliseum, the Spectrum Center started with 19,895 fans for its inaugural gig by U2, which is still the venue's highest non-sporting attendance record. The venue has a total expandable capacity of 20,200 for college basketball. A $245 million renovation completed in October 2025 added the Belk Concourse, premium club spaces, and enhanced sightlines for concerts like Ghost's.
